we took our initial mock up to class for feedback from the class.

issues identified by the class were...
- genre selection and search bar
- rating system and comment system
- episode and season select
- landing page


- the genre/search bar was a little confusing due to the search button being next to the genre select and not next the search bar. this was initially to use the genres as search limitations or boundaries.
because this looked confusing we decided to change the concept so that clicking a genre will display the top rated shows of that particular genre, and the search button has been moved next the search bar.


- is the comments section really necessary?
although we discussed this and it was decided that people really like to post comment on videos, we decided to swap the comment section for a rating system. which would make sense because we have top rated shows.


- the landing page was identified to be the biggest issue, as it launched straight into needing to search to actually show something.
we had discussed a welcome page, which would display the website logo and search bar nice and big and perhaps the top rated shows. after the feedback we received we decided that it would be best to include it.
